Vision insurance helps cover the cost of eye exams, glasses, and contact lenses to keep your eyes healthy and your vision sharp.
Vision coverage is available through MetLife’s VSP Choice Network. This PPO plan gives you the flexibility to see any licensed vision provider, but your benefits go further when you stay in-network. The network includes private practices as well as retailers like Costco Optical, Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Visionworks.
When you visit an in-network provider, there are no claims to file—just pay any applicable copay or amount over your allowance at the time of service.

Standard Lens Enhancements
Polycarbonate lenses for children under 18 and UV coating are included at no additional cost. Other enhancements like progressives, photochromic lenses, anti-reflective coating, and scratch-resistant coating are available at negotiated copay rates.
Out-of-Network Benefits
You can see any licensed vision provider, but if you go out-of-network, you’ll pay upfront and submit a claim for reimbursement.
